A LONG standing employee has been honoured for her loyal service.
Carol Varley, who turned 60 today, has managed cash and carry sales at Cleckheaton wholesale nursery Beardsworths Limited for the last 22 years.

The nursery in Whitehall Road grows ornamental and native trees, shrubs and conifers.

Managing director Bill Beardsworth said: "Over the years Carol's helpful and knowledgeable service has built up a loyal base of local customers.

"Upon her retirement this Christmas she will be missed by her fellow employees and customers alike.

"We would all like to wish her the very best in her retirement."
