PARENTS and children from two schools took part in a twinning project to learn about different cultural activities.
The six-week scheme saw children from Manorfield Infant and Nursery School in Batley and Gomersal First School visiting each other and having lessons together.

It ended with multicultural party, including Bollywood dancing and African drumming, with children from both schools performing for parents.

During the six weeks the children got together to make food, get creative and design patterns with fabric. They took part in peer massage and exercises.

And their parents also got together for workshops making onion bhajis and doing landscape painting.
