THERE'S still time to capture 'A Moment in Time' by entering a Kirklees photography competition.
Entrants have until June 30 to get their photos in for the competition, which looks at the inside story of Kirklees.
There is a choice of seven categories of building for those entering to choose from. Participants, of all ages and skills, can ent
er as many of the categories as they like and there is a prize of a Brother Multifunction colour printer for each category winner.
The winning entries will also be displayed at Red House Museum during Heritage Open Days on September 11 to 14.
The categories are: education, places of worship, public and civic buildings, workplaces, retail, domestic and leisure. All photographs must be taken of buildings within the Kirklees area.
To help photographers on their way there are still places available on free photography workshops running across Kirklees. Mirfield Library will be holding their workshops on Tuesday May 20 from 10am-noon and on Thursday May 22 from 2pm-4pm. Booking is essential by calling 01924 326470.
Photographs must be either printed out or submitted on a CD. Images must be no bigger than 10ins by 8ins . Those entering are asked to gain permission before taking photographs.
