Cleckheaton U3A is much as David Morton described in his letter Learn in Retirement, Guardian Letterbox (August 31). It is about to start its 22nd year and has a wide variety of classes and activities.

Information can be found on the website, www.communigate.co.uk/brad/cleckheatonu3a, and copies of the prospectus will be available at Cleckheaton town hall between 10am and 1pm on Friday September 21. Enrolment will take place a week later.
