I JUST had to write and let everyone know what a mess it is now they have closed the Royal Mail delivery office in Heckmondwike.

This week I have had two special deliveries made on two separate days. I now have to trail all the way up to the Batley depot on Grange Valley Road. It took me an hour and a half to find where it was and pick my delivery up.

Lucky I have a car at the moment but I have no idea how to get there if my car fails its MOT. I don’t even think there is a bus route.

How to they expect anybody older, or who has not any transport to get up there.

We are nearer to Cleckheaton Post Office but we have the wrong postcode to go there.

It is totally stupid.
