THERE really is no pleasing some people is there?
Regarding the letter in the Spenborough Guardian (January 29) about "mixing our rubbish" - everyone was given prior warning that the rubbish from BOTH bins would be collected on the same day.

I am grateful to Kirklees Council for collecting the contents of both bins, mine were close to overflowing.

The conditions made it impossible to collect on our normal collection days, they did what they thought was best for us all.

It was a one off, they're not going to do it every week.

It wasn't "shocking" - it was an acceptable solution to a big problem.

My bin men are fantastic, I applaud them.
