A COMEDY about the darker side of city night-life is set to hit the stage at the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford.

Bouncers, written and directed by West Yorkshire’s John Godber, follows four bouncers as they prepare for another night, and another crowd.

One of Godber’s most popular plays, Bouncers paints a vivid picture of the relentless hedonism of northern night life with its raw energy and raucous lads and lasses out on the town.

The play stars Ace Bhatti, best known as Eastenders’ Dr Evil, and Ian Reddington, who has starred in both Eastenders and Coronation Street. They are joined by Don Gilet, who appeared in Babyfathers, and Willam Ilkley, who has recently worked on the set of Hollyoaks, Holby City and The Royal.

Bouncers is on from September 12 to 15. Tickets, for over 16s only, are available from the Box Office 01274 432000 or at www.bradford-theatres.co.uk.
