A £5,000 fence could be put up around memorial gardens in East Bierley.
The gardens are next to St Luke's Church Centre, where the pre-school is located.

As part of the pre-school curriculum, children are required to take part in outdoor activities and have been using the memorial gardens.

Now the school has been asked to look into securing the area.

The gardens, owned and maintained by Kirklees Council, are a major feature of the village.
