CANNABIS worth £5m has been seized in an international drugs raid operation.
Police raided industrial premises in Cleckheaton on Tuesday and recovered one tonne of suspected cannabis resin.

The officers also seized an articulated HGV and a substantial amount of cash.

Four men have been arrested in connection with the alleged importation of drugs into West Yorkshire from Spain.

The men remain in police custody and are being interviewed by detectives.

Investigations are continuing and West Yorkshire Police are working closely with the Spanish Authorities.

DCI Mick McDermott said: "Drugs bring misery to local communities and by recovering a significant amount of cannabis we prevented it from potentially ending up on our streets."
