Biker killed in Littletown

A MOTORCYCLIST has died following an accident in Littletown.
The 29-year-old, who was riding a Suzuki, sustained serious injuries when his bike was involved in a collision with a Ford Transit van at the junction of Bradford Road and Listing Lane in Littletown at 7am on Thursday.

He was taken to Dewsbury and District Hospital but later died of his injuries.

The 50 year old male driver of the van was arrested for careless driving and following questioning has been bailed pending further enquiries.
