A CHARITY dinner, dance and auction will be hosted next Friday by the Mayor of Kirklees.
The event, at the Galpharm Stadium, will raise money for the Mayor's charity appeal, Supporting People in Crisis in Kirklees.
The theme for the evening, which starts at 7pm, is Love Thy Neighbour and there will be an auction, live jazz music and live band.
Among the many auction prizes are a week's holiday in Majorca, a case of wines, a full-size cricket bat signed by Yorkshire CC's 1st team and a House of Lords bottle of single malt.
The Mayor, Coun Julie Stewart-Turner's appeal is to support four local charities, two in north Kirklees and two in south Kirklees.
Tickets, which includes a meal, entertainment and welcome drink are £35 and the dress code is black tie.
