A CHARITY set up by a former Spen teacher has been boosted by TV stars David Tennant and Catherine Tate.
The pair have filmed a sketch show especially for the Laura Crane Trust, which supports research into cancers affecting young adults.
The trust was founded by Jackie Roeder, who lost her daughter Laura to cancer in 1996, two weeks after Laura's 17th birthday.
The comedienne and actress Catherine Tate is a patron of the charity, and joined forces with her Dr Who co-star David Tennant to film a sketch which was broadcast at the trust's 2007 Hollywood Ball.
The event, held at Cedar Court, Bradford, was the biggest fundraiser yet for the charity, raking in a triumphant £25,000 .
