FIVE people were hurt in an accident between a bus and a car at the Swan traffic lights in Liversedge on Wednesday night.
Firefighters had to cut one of the victims out of the Corolla's roof following the accident at around 10pm.

The road was closed off for around an hour-and-a-half while emergency services tended to the injured and cleared the scene.

In all, five people were treated for injuries but none was seriously hurt.

It was one of three accidents on Spen's roads on the same evening.

Just before 6pm, a silver Rover and a blue Audi collided by the Millbridge traffic lights but no-one was injured, and at 9.20pm a woman received slight injuries in a collision between a Citroen Saxo and a Ford Focus on Halifax Road, Scholes.
