WYKE Library is to host a pirate-themed family fun day this month.
The event on Saturday, July 18, is from 10am-3pm and will be packed with fun and activities for children up to 12-years-old.

From 10am-11am there will be a special pirate story time for children up to five-years-old. Then from 10am-noon and 1pm-3pm there will be various craft activities and between 2pm and 3pm there will be a teddy bears' picnic when children can dress as pirates and bring their teddies dressed as pirates too. There will also be a balloon modeller at the picnic and a visit from the Bookstart Bear.

All children are welcome to the picnic, but anyone wanting to attend the craft and story time sessions need to book in advance.
