SPORTY youths are urged to get their skates on as a campaign to make Cleckheaton the roller hockey capital of the north gathers pace.
Dan Messenger, of the Northern Counties Roller Hockey Association, is preparing to launch the Whitcliffe Mount Roller Hockey Academy (WMRHA) next month.
Taster sessions are held tomorrow and on Saturday August 30 at Whitcliffe Mount Sports Centre.
They start at 5pm, following on from public roller skating sessions that run from 4pm.
