THERE'S still time to enter our competition to win two tickets to an amazing sporting dinner at the Gomersal Park Hotel.
Guest speakers will be former football referee Trelford Mills, who refereed games in which legendary players George Best, Paul Gascoigne, Glen Hoddle, Kevin Keegan, Rodney Marsh and Frank Worthington played.

He will have many tales to tell about his experiences on the football field and is sure to be an entertaining speaker.

The charity dinner is on Friday Mary 23, organised by the Rotary Club of Batley.

Tickets cost £30 per person, but we have two to give away to one lucky reader. To enter our competition simply answer the following question: Where was the legendary George Best born?

Send your answer along with your name, address, and daytime telephone number to Sporting Dinner Competition, Spenborough Guardian, 1 Market Street, Cleckheaton, BD19 3RT. Entries must reach us by first thing on Tuesday May 20.

Tickets can be booked through Bev Stevens on 01924 351002.
