Witness plea after Cleckheaton woman killed in road accident

A YOUNG woman from Cleckheaton who was in a road accident two weeks ago has died.
Laura Magure, 23, of St John's Close, Cleckheaton, suffered serious injuries after the Vauxhall Corsa she was driving was in collision with a wagon on Tong Road, Leeds on the morning of February 25.

She was taken to Leeds General Infirmary, but died last Tuesday. (March 2)

An inquest was opened and adjourned on Tuesday this week and her funeral will take place on Friday.

The accident happened at 8.45am on Tong Road at the junction with Troydale Road.

Witnesses to the collision were asked to contact PC Paul Lightowler at the Major Collision Enquiry Team 01924 293047.
