A TRAIN-lover has organised a charity fundraiser on Sunday – 10 years after his daughter died from cancer.

Brian Hall, 74, of Liversedge, has organised ‘A Day for Kay’ to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Families are able to contribute to a memory wall in their loved one’s name.

Brian owns a steam locomotive which is housed at Middleton Railway Station, in Moor Road, Hunslet, where the event takes place. Visitors can pay £5 to drive a diesel engine, along with games and railway-themed fun from 11am-4.30pm.
