PUPILS from a drama group have come up with their own show which they will perform on the stage of the Alhambra.
Pupils from the West Yorkshire Drama Academy in Heckmondwike have devised the school’s first ever show, called Wonder In Oz.
Teacher Rebecca Foster said: “All the creative ideas, choreography and conception within the performance have been workshopped and devised by our students themselves.
“Our youngest player is five!
“The cast has worked incredibly hard and I am extremely proud of them. The story follows Dorothy of Oz, played by Lolita Wattley, and Alice of Wonderland, played by Caitlin Holdsworth, as they enter the mystical world of Wonder in Oz.”
The group will perform the show at the Alhambra Studios, Bradford, on Wednesday at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £7 for adults, £5 for concessions or £20 for a family of two adults and two children.
