High-flying students could be on board for a career in the skies with a new course unveiled by Kirklees College.
Skypeople will run Cabin Crew Initial Training courses, offering a professional qualification taught using true-to-life aircraft cabin and check-in desk facilities.
The only course of its kind in the UK, it is a legislated qualification in accordance with the European Air Safety Agency (EASA) and is approved by the Civil Aviation Authority.
Head of travel and tourism at Kirklees College Nikki Davis said: “We are delighted to be in partnership with Skypeople as they have an excellent reputation for training world class cabin crew.”
It is open to anyone over 18 and no previous qualifications are necessary. It offers Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA) which covers the training traditionally delivered by airlines.
The first course starts October 27 and is £795 per person. For more details call 01457 832397 or visit www.skypeople.co.uk.
