Arsonists drove a car into a field before setting it on fire.

Firefighters from Cleckeaton Fire Staton were called to the field just off Muffit Lane, Gomersal, at around 4.15am on Sunday

A Vauxhall Corsa had been set alight and was destroyed by the blaze.

A fire service spokesman said no-one was injured in the incident.
