The Rev Brunel James said: “We are so grateful to everyone who helped make these events such fun, and delighted to have two Alpha Courses running as a result, giving people the chance to explore their faith further”.

Among the events were a country fair at Whitechapel Church, a pet show and a curry night at St John’s Church, an arts workshop at St Luke’s, a coffee morning, barn dance with supper and Taize service at Cleckheaton Methodists, a united service in the town hall, youth worship, a faith walk, a stall in the precinct.
