A man has been jailed for four years for sex offences committed after he showed his two victims pornography.

Leeds Crown Court heard Michael Foley’s activities only came to light years later after the first complainant revealed what had happened to him.

Nick Adlington prosecuting said Foley had been drinking with that 17-year-old and suggested they watch some porn DVDs.

The victim, because of the amount he had drunk had only a hazy recollection but remembered Foley began pleasuring himself and then became aware that Foley was actually touching him and beginning to perform oral sex.

The teenager pulled away and Foley immediately stopped. He did not reveal what had happened for several years but said it had impacted on his life and relationships.

After his allegations were made another complainant said he was 10 or 11 when he was at Foley’s house with a number of other boys of a similar age and Foley had asked them if they wanted to look at porn.

They went to his bedroom where they watched pornography and Foley began to masturbate in front of them.

Imran Khan representing Foley said he had been drinking excessively before the first incident and immediately desisted so the offence was only a “momentary” more than 10 years ago.

The other offence was also years ago and his guilty pleas had saved both boys from giving evidence.

Foley, 39, previously of Whitehall Way, Dewsbury admitted one offence of sexual activity with a child and one of sexual activity in the presence of a child.

Jailing him and ordering him to register for life as a sex offender, Recorder James Baird said by his own admission Foley had also taken some drugs prior to the first offence and had taken advantage of the teenager who had been drinking but stopped as soon as he was pushed away.

In the second incident a number of boys had been at his home when he suggested they watch pornography and then committed the offence.
