A WOMAN who used to live at a Cleckheaton pub has been fined for not clearing rubbish from the premises.

Tracy Kirk, who used to be at the Broomfield Hotel, Moorbottom, pleaded guilty to waste offences at Dewsbury Magistrates Court on Tuesday and was fined £415 including costs.

The court heard the offences related to uncontained trade and domestic waste and failing to put domestic dustbins out for collection at the pub between February and April this year, despite being served with notices requiring her to do so.

Kirk, 40, who now lives at Upper Cross Street, Dewsbury, also pleaded guilty to fly-tipping on Dewsbury Road, Cleckheaton, on April 7 this year.

Officers investigating the fly-tipping found correspondence linked to her and the Broomfield Hotel.

When questioned, she could not prove how waste from the pub had been disposed of.

She is no longer at the pub.
