Wrench-wielding robber steals CDs

A DJ was robbed of his CD collection by a man wielding a wrench as he walked home at the weekend.

The 21-year-old was in Vine Street at around 4.30am on Saturday and as he opened the front door to his home the man appeared and threatened him. He then demanded the victim hand over his black ‘Slappa’ bag which contained compilation CDs that the DJ had made himself.

The man police are looking for is around 5ft 7-8ins tall, stocky and had a deep voice. He was wearing a dak blue hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms.
