YOUNG pupils were over the moon when a dragon came to serve them their school dinners.

Munch the Dragon went to Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School in Heckmondwike to celebrate the refurbishment of the dinner hall with pupils and staff.

The children were delighted when Munch took up a ladle to help serve dinners.

Fran Glover, from the school, said new signs had been put up in the dinner hall and on tables to brighten it up.

She said: “The children loved Munch.

“We’ve been saying it was Munching mania!”
