Worthinghead Primary School has received a ‘good’ rating in its latest Ofsted report.

Headteacher Lillian Allen said: “It is great for the whole school community. We are a happy team and everyone works so hard to get the best out of our children.

“I am pleased that the inspectors saw that and recognised the efforts made by the staff and the children.”

Last week the school’s year fives went on a trip to BASF chemicals in Low Moor.

After a tour around the factory the children carried out their own experiments in the lab, they then looked at different ways to purify water and then had the chance to make their own slime!
