TOTS have graduated from their nursery in Gomersal.

The children at St Mary’s Nursery held a leavers’ presentation to thank everyone for their support over the last year and celebrate their achievements.

As their topic work had focused on ‘growing’ the children performed the song Find a Little Seed for parents, grandparents and carers.

They were also presented with a certificate and present from the nursery staff, and are now looking forward to starting school in September.

St Mary’s School also received a welcome boost of £1,000 from the Home School Association at the end of a Party in the Park style school concert.

Headteacher Susan Scott said the newly-formed group has worked tirelessly on fundraising to support the school, and their efforts had been greatly appreciated by everyone at St Mary’s.
