Spenborough Amateurs threw a surprise party for the children of Baron Von Trapp following the success of their recent show The Sound of Music.
The party was held at the REA club in Cleckheaton to say thank you to the youngsters.
Director Judith Morris and some of the cast were also there to congratulate the kids on their fine performances.
Spen Amateurs’ next production is the stage version of Calender Girls – the film made famous by Helen Mirren and Julie Walters – and will be performed in May.
Auditions take place on January 13 at the REA club in Kelloe Street, Moorend, and audition pieces can be obtained from Ian Stephenson on 07788 677099.
