Festive fun raises charity donations
Christmas came early for residents of a Ravensthorpe housing scheme.
More than 40 residents of Saville Court on Queen Street enjoyed a Christmas party with dinner and entertainment last Thursday. Donations were made to Kirkwood Hospice and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance during festivities.
Jackie Woodhead, scheme manager, said the event was a huge success.
