Pupils from Littletown school were in fine voice when they took part in the pre-match celebrations of Saturday’s rugby world cup match at the John Smith’s Stadium in Huddersfield.
The children formed part of a 150-strong choir singing before kick-off.
Headteacher Fiona Cullivan-Ward said: “We had been rehearsing for weeks and were very excited to take part. We have many boys in school who are active rugby players and fans, so we always embrace children’s passions to enhance our curriculum delivery, so we jumped at the chance to be involved in combining singing and sport.”
Children from Whitechapel School in Cleckheaton were also represented in the choir.
