A SIX-month old pup brought a little bit of animal magic into the classroom when he visited High Bank School in Windy Bank.
The six-month-old Jack Russell terrier visited the school along with Donna Sayce from the Dogs’ Trust.
Reception and year one teacher Leanne Howley said the visit was part of topic work looking at responsible pet ownership and the demands of looking after animals.
“The children loved Nola and got the chance to stroke her,” said Miss Howley.
“Donna was so good with the pupils.
“They asked lots of questions and she congratulated all of them on their excellent behaviour and said she’d had a lovely time at our school.”
