Get ready for music, laughter and plenty of audience participation when the curtain goes up on Dewsbury Collegians’ annual pantomime.

The theatre group will perform Cinderella at Dewsbury Town Hall from Tuesday.

Director Chris Etty said: “It’s fast-paced and there’s something for everyone – singing, dancing and lots of comedy. We’ve got two ex-army men playing the Ugly Sisters so they’re not like the ones you usually get in pantos.

“It’s the first time some of the cast have done anything like this so they’re really looking forward to it.”

The show runs Tuesday to Saturday at 7.15pm with a Saturday matinee at 2pm.

Balcony tickets cost £8.50 and stall tickets cost £8 (concessions £6) with discounts available for block bookings.

And audiences joining the cast on opening night can snap up stalls seats for just £5.
