LEEDS United legend Johnny Giles met die-hard Whites fans during an appearance at Scholes Cricket Club.
The midfield powerhouse gave a talk to members of the Spen Valley chapter of the Leeds United fan club, discussing his early career with rivals Manchester United, from which he would later join the Elland Road outfit.
Darren Holland, from the club committee, said: “The cricket club was completely packed to hear Johnny talk about his early years in the game and he spoke about some of the great players he was privileged enough to play alongside.
“Everybody had a fantastic evening and left with a big smile of their face.
“For football fans whatever their team colours may have been, this was truly a great night of football. The club and committee would like to thank everybody for their fantastic support.”
