Christmas is coming and there’s nothing better to kick off the festive season than Christmas lights.
The first event is in Cleckheaton when the lights will be turned on tomorrow at 6pm after a day of fun starting at 1pm. Several town centre roads will be closed from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
The second is in Heckmondwike on Wednesday when Huddersfield Town’s Andy Booth flicks the switch at 6.45pm after an afternoon of fun with entertainment from Stuart Stage School plus reindeer and cast members from Tong Garden Centre’s Cinderella panto.
The third event is next Friday in Roberttown, when Santa Claus will switch on the lights at 6.45pm. Roberttown Road will be closed from 5.30pm to 8pm.
The final event is in Birkenshaw on Sunday November 27. The fun begins at 2.30pm with big switch on at 4.30pm.
