SCHOOL trips have become a whole lot easier for pupils are East Bierley Primary School after they were given a minibus.
The donation was made by Birkenshaw company Parkhouse Health Care after the school was contacted by managing director Steve Owens.
Headteacher Marcus Newby said: “Parkhouse do lots of education initatives and were keen to help a local school. We were absolutely delighted by their generosity,
“It will be used for informal trips such as when our pupils go to Tong High School for swimming lessons and golf. We also used it to take pupils to our harvest service at St Paul’s Church.
“We are incredibly grateful, it’s such a generous gesture and makes going out on trips so much easier. It’s also another way that Parkhouse are supporting the local community, which they do very well.”
