A novel idea for new book
Martin Webster being instructed in the art of book signing
AUTHOR Martin Webster will receive the star treatment tomorrow, as he will be signing his new book, A Girl Called Blessing.
After BW Bookworm’s in Cheapside agreed to stock the book, Martin has been invited to his very own book signing at the shop tomorrow at 11am.
Martin said the shop’s owners, Gareth Halton and David Bagshaw, had given him a good insight into the literary world.
“It is always difficult to launch a book unless you are already famous,” said Martin. “But Gareth and David at Bookworms gave me invaluable advice and had confidence in my work which made me feel famous, even though I’m patently not!”
A Girl Called Blessing charts the struggle of a young African tribe girl on the run from murderous war-lords. The book will retail for £6.99 at the shop and is also available on amazon.co.uk.
