TWO brothers who died in a car crash in Wyke last night have been named.

Christopher Blowman, 31, and 27-year-old Sam Blowman, from Wibsey in Bradford, were driving in Woodside Road, Wyke, when their Ford Focus hit a tree at about 11.41pm yesterday (Tuesday).

A police spokesman said the car failed to stop when requested by officers.

West Yorkshire Police referred the incident to the Independent Police Complaints Commission, but West Yorkshire officers have now taken back over the investigation.
