Care home workers suspended after alleged assault

Two care home workers have been suspended following an allegation of assault at the home.

The members of staff work at Norcott House, Liversedge, which cares for people with learning difficulties.

The suspension comes following a complaint by other staff members about the treatment of 18-year-old Thomas Rawnsley. The workers were suspended and family members and authories notified.

Adrian Clarke, director of home managers Woodleigh Care, confirmed two workers had been suspended but could not comment further as police were investigating.
