Timestep School of Dance, based in Heckmondwike, hosts ‘Forget Me Not’ at Cleckheaton Town Hall on Saturday, October 29.

The school puts on a play each year and decided to dedicate this year’s offering to
Bradley MacDonald, who died just over a year ago.

Bradley, who lost his fight against cancer at the age of 16, and his mum Carly were friends with many of the group.

As a tribute, Bradley’s favourite song ‘Are you with me?’ by Lost Frequencies will be performed at the show, which starts at 7pm.

Rachel Walmsley, principal and owner of Timestep, said: “Many Timestep members are friends with Bradley’s mum Carly and his family.

“Bradley’s favourite track will be performed by Timestep’s Adult Tappers in his memory.

“We then thought what a fantastic idea it would be to ask all our performers if they had a
favourite track that they would like to dedicate to a family member or friend.

“So this year’s show is extremely personal to all our performers and it’s quite fitting for us to do this theme for this year.”

Tickets for the performance, priced at £11.50 adults and £10.50 concessions, are available by calling the Kirklees Box Office on 01484 225755.

Rachel added: “Our show will entertain the whole family and our dancers, singers and actors will be performing to Chicago, Wizard of Oz, Annie, Billy Elliot plus many more.

“We hope people enjoy the performance.”
