A farming family is celebrating after winning a top agricultural award.

The Fewsters, who run Listing Mill dairy farm in Gomersal, were presented with the Family Run farm of the Year accolade at the Northern Farm Awards.

Malcolm Fewster said: “It’s the BAFTAs of the farming world. We didn’t know we were going to win.” Malcolm runs the farm with his wife Trees, son Malcolm Edward and daughter-in-law Cheryl.

Malcolm Edward said: “A lot of farmers work silly hours and the award recognisese we have found a simple grazing system – we can make a living and still enjoy some spare time.”
