Fresh appeal for stolen pets
STOLEN: Mazuma and Ruble.
A FAMILY has issued a fresh appeal for the safe return of their missing cats.
The two birman cats, Mazuma and Ruble, were stolen from the Sutton family’s Scholes home in a burglary on December 21.
Police issued an appeal for their return to no avail. Now the family is hoping a fresh appeal will help to get their beloved pets back.
Dad Leigh said: “We haven’t given up hope. We posted leaflets at 168 vets and rescue centres. Everybody within a 20 mile radius knows about it. I think somebody has been given them for Christmas. They are not going to let them outside.”
The thieves broke in while Leigh, wife Kate and daughters Saffron and Summer were asleep upstairs.
They said Christmas was ruined as they were missing their beloved pets so much.
Leigh said friends and family had clubbed together to raise a £1,000 reward for the safe return of the cats. Contact him on 07917 170283.
