A Heckmondwike man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a crash on the M4 in which a 75-year-old man died.
The 55-year-old Heckmondwike man, who was driving a blue DAF lorry, crashed with two HGVs, a red Mercedes lorry and a Nissan car at about 3.10pm last Thursday.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Heckmondwike man, who has not been named, has been released on bail until March 13.
Police investigator Stuart Whitworth said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw the vehicles prior to the collision to contact police.”
