Jo donates her fee to diabetes charity
Batley-based author Jo Fox updated NCC Home Learning’s Diabetes in Children and Young People course and insisted her agreed fee is donated to The Pendsey Trust.
The charity provides life-saving insulin and educational opportunities to people living with diabetes in the developing world.

Jo first offered to review the course for free, but a fee was eventually agreed and then doubled for the charity, of which Jo has recently become a trustee.
Jo said: “This subject area is really close to my heart and I just feel it was the right thing to do.
“Children around the world are dying because without the NHS, they do not have access to life-saving insulin. I want all young people with diabetes to have the same opportunities as Oliver, and donating this fee is a step closer to making this happen.”
