ADMINISTRATORS called in to a garden centre say they have no plans to make any staff redundant.
Begbies Traynor were appointed to Whiteleys in Hartshead last week and are now looking for a buyer for the firm.
The business is in the hands of Julian Pitts, Bob Maxwell and Andrew Dick from Begbies Traynor.
There are currently 45 staff employed at the garden centre which has an estimated annual turnover of £2m.
Mr Pitts said: “This is a well-established and viable business which has suffered from financial pressures that are not related to its day-to-day operations. We are continuing to trade the business and the garden centre will be running as usual while a buyer is sought.”
