LETTER: Nothing being done to calm traffic in Thornhill
There was a speed measurement device in situ that recorded over 80mph in a 30mph zone yet nothing has ever been done.
No road calming measures whatsoever.
There is a church, an old people’s home, private residences and a park all on Church Lane and we were even turned down for a crossing.

Hide AdI was told that someone would have to be killed to instigate any road calming measures to be made - disgusting!
If two lorries or buses are passing, one has to mount the pavement as the road is too narrow.
The pavement on one side is only one foot across.
I just hope it’s nobody from my family that has to die to make anything be done.
