Norristhorpe School is welcoming a host of new pupils!

The school has built a wormery after being awarded a grant from an American firm, and dozens of wriggly worms are setting up residence in it.

Gillian Green, from the school, said the money had come from an American carpet company called Interface which was giving grants for worthwhile causes. The company awarded the school $1,000 which it used to build the wormery. Parents had come in to help put it together, and the children loved it. she added.
