Norristhorpe barn blaze
A FIRE broke out this morning (Wednesday) at a Norristhorpe barn as three crews battled to control the blaze.
Crews from Cleckheaton, Batley and Dewsbury were called to the barn on Owlet Hurst Lane, opposite the Working Mens Club on Norristhorpe Lane, at around 8.10am.
The building fire, which is close to a farm house, took crews several hours to put the flames out fully.
Officers at the scene said that the farm house was not at risk.
