Millbridge pupils had a lesson in living history with a  World War II day at their school.

The year three and four pupils learned all about the Blitz, telegrams and first aid during workshops given by Darren Birchall from Balestra Living History.

They also got the chance to see what life was like inside an air raid shelter, thanks to an Anderson shelter which has been built in the school grounds.
