Police probe Wyke death
POLICE are investigating the death of Wyke man Richard Lennon.
The body of the 33-year-old was found by police at a house in Wilson Road, at 5.30pm on Saturday.
A murder investigation was initially launched by detectives, but it is believed they are no longer treating the death as suspicious.
However, following a post-mortem examination, the cause of death is still ‘unexplained’.
Police are still investigating the circumstances around Mr Lennon’s death. An inquest is yet to be opened.
Floral tributes were laid in the road at the weekend, as police forensic teams cordoned off much of the area.
